Inspection before
end of warranty

If your warranty liability period expires, all issues appearing with your blades are no longer of any concern to the supplier. If deficiencies aren’t presented to the supplier before end of warranty, all remedial maintenance won’t be free of charge any longer. Within the framework of the end of warranty inspection, all deficiencies could be presented to the manufacturer to which he is obligated to remediate.

Periodic inspection

By regularly inspecting your rotor blades, premature damage could be detected. This allows the owner to remediate with limited costs before further propagation of damages interfere with the structural integrity of the blade, which could lead to performance loss. Periodic inspections are therefore an essential keystone in the condition-based maintenance, which is commonly required by all insurance agencies. With our specially developed rope-access technique, we are able to access all areas of a blade, of turbines of all heights, with limited costs.

Commissioning inspection

Blade inspections performed after initial commissioning allows for the detection of transport- and installation-damage. As independent evaluator we guarantee our costumer that all technical obligations meet the contractual requirements.

Check-up of the lightning protection system (LPS)

Lightning strikes could induce significant damage to the electrical/control system as well as to the blade itself. Therefore, we offer a check-up under DIN EN 62305-3 standards. LPS-component inspections together with electric impedance measurements can guarantee a fully functional LPS – System.

As we have more than 20 years of experience in the inspection of turbine blades, work together with blade design and repair agencies, we can analyse all deficiencies with high expertise.

Manufacturing and
acceptance test

As part of the quality management system within turbine blade manufacturing, we support manufacturer and other costumers with, for example, the delivery acceptance certificate 3.2 of the DIN EN 10204.
